This is the story of my grandparents through their own words. As I am posting, this is will be the first opportunity that I will have had to read the letters also. I have a lot of letters, so follow along...this will a nice ride... The story starts at the bottom and you work your way up to the most recent post. My grandfather, Stan Sullivan met my grandmother, Mary Rose Bertke, when they worked together at a Cincinnati insurance agency- American Auto. He was then drafted in 1941 before the US entered World War II. Let their story begin...
